INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING YOUR DEFAULT SETTING Go to your desktop and right click on your mouse. A dialogue box will come up, and on most computers, the last word will be "Properties." Click Properties. That will take you to another dialogue box, and at the top are tabs. The last tab is called: "Settings." Click Settings. Another dialogue box will pop up, and on this look at the bottom where it says: "Screen Area." On most computers, there will be a little lever to click on and drag right or left with your mouse. If your dial is set at 800 x 600 pixels, then click on the lever and move it right until it says" "1024 x 768 pixels," then leave it there, click "Ok," and as the dialogue boxes come up, click on apply, and ok again. Your screen will go black for a moment while it is changing, and when it comes back on your text will be smaller. If you do not like this, you can easily change it back again following the same steps, but in reverse.
